Objective

Conclude the 5G NSA/SA networking strategy
- 3.5GHz coverage analysis with typical deployment scenario and mMIMO configuration as high priority, need check if UL improvement solution is needed, e.g. SUL, CA or others
- 5G NR multiple frequencies planning (below 6GHz) with marco/small cell/indoor scenario analysis
- CU/DU and Classical BBU site planning for eMBB deployment scenario

Finalize the 5G pre-commercial deployment strategy (above items as high priority) and define the specifications for 5G pre-commercial products following 3GPP Rel-15 at the spectrum which is below 6GHz with help from 2018 field verifications (performance testing, mobility, and cell-edge planning, etc)

Update the requirements based on referring to 3GPP R15 specifications, identify the prioritized deployment scenarios after Q2 study

The version of specifications for 5G pre-commercial products, based on referring to the results of lab or field trial verification and the Q3 task output of networking deployment strategy.

Objective

Finalize the commercial deployment strategy and define the specifications for 5G commercial products at the spectrum which is below 6GHz, based on the results of various testing in the well-built 5G pre-commercial network (including performance test, multi‐vendor inter‐operation test, the test for service continuity between 4G/5G, etc.) and based on referring to 3GPP R16 specifications
