GTI 2.0 aims to continue to promote the global development of TD-LTE, encouraging convergence with FDD, and to foster a cross-industry innovative and a synergistic 5G ecosystem.

Launch of China Mobile 5G Innovation Center and VoLTE/CA Chipsets and Terminals:
China Mobile officially launched China Mobile 5G Innovation Center jointly with its first 11 partners, aiming to propel 5G development. Meanwhile, China Mobile released VoLTE/CA cost-effective chipsets and smart phones to accelerate the maturity of VoLTE/CA terminals.
3.5GHz Industry Session:
Top leaders from PCCW, DOCOMO, KDDI, China Mobile, UKB, Qualcomm and Huawei shared the latest updates of global 3.5GHz industry, and discussed in-depth in the panel session on the topic of building 3.5GHz End-to-End Ecosystem.
