The University of Surrey’s 5G Innovation Centre (5GIC) in the UK has selected its first seven SME Technology Partners. This is part of its 5G SME engagement programme to make 5G opportunities available to smaller companies.
The partners are Blu Wireless, CBNL, Cardinality, Eptomical, Estatom, Lime Microsystems and Paramus. They were selected through procurement for the 5G testbed, or through either academic research engagement or an option competition between the SME members of the 5GIC. Each partner was awarded up to GBP 10,000 by Surrey University to integrate their technology into the 5G testbed.
