Polish operator Polkomtel, which operates the Plus network, has created a TV programming cooperation with the public-rescue service Safe Holidays about safety risks at seaside resorts and mountains and first aid instructions, Telcompaper.com reported on July 11, 2014. The program broadcasts on Polsat and Polsat News on Saturdays and Sundays between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. The series will be available over mobile connections via Plus’s LTE network.

Polkomtel and Safe Holidays will also host events at resorts, where Polkomtel will set up special zeppelins with Wi-Fi routers to promote its Power LTE offer, which visitors can use for free. The operator will also give away wristbands for children with an emergency number (601100100) and set up a free space for parents to contact them. Smartphone users can download the NaviExpert Plus service for a free 7-day trial, which can be activated via SMS.
