Slovenian mobile operator Si.mobil has extended its LTE network to Tolmin, increasing its current coverage to over 35 percent, Telcompaper.com reported on July 11, 2014. By the end of the year, Si.mobil intends to cover 75 percent of the Slovenian population, which includes all major Slovenian cities. In addition to Tolmin, LTE technology is already used in Ljubljana, Maribor, Kranjska Gora, Bled, Ljubljana Airport (Brnik), Koper, Izola, Portoroz, Sezana, Nova Gorica, Kranj, Celje, MurskaSobota and Ljutomer.
