T-Mobile Czech Republic announced progress in the construction of its LTE network, which now covers most of Prague, including the main residential parts in the Eastern part of the capital, Telcompaper.com reported on July 11, 2014. The network’s latest LTE coverage additions include the Prague castle. In Prague, T-Mobile covers 75 percent of the population, with a plan to coverage 100 percent by October. During the summer holidays, the operator plans to extend coverage to smaller cities and municipalities, including CeskaLipa, Ceske Budejovice, Domazlice, Jicin, Louny, Prachatice, Pribram, Strakonice and Tachov. In cooperation with O2 Czech Republic, T-Mobile also launched LTE in Vysocina.
