U.S. carrier-services provider iBasis, a KPN company, and Telekom Austria have signed an LTE roaming peering agreement that will provide LTE roaming services to MNO customers of both companies, according to Telecompaper.com on July 14, 2014. The new deal builds on the companies\' existing GRX peering agreement, as well as their respective IP eXchanges (IPX). Through direct connections to mobile operators\' LTE networks and through peerings with other providers, iBasis delivers global LTE roaming that currently reaches over 100 LTE networks. The iBasis LTE Signalling eXchange (LSX) service provides a single point of access to iBasis\' live 4G (LTE) signaling network and offers a trial environment for testing LTE interworking and roaming scenarios.
