Dominican Republic telecoms operator Wind Telecom has reached a coverage of nearly 1 million homes with its LTE network, according to Telecompaper.com on July 14, 2014. The executive said that the operator has invested approximately 91 million USD in the installation of the LTE infrastructure across the country. The network’s infrastructure was deployed by Chinese company ZTE. Wind Telecom has 200 MHz of spectrum in the 2.5 GHz band for the provision of 4G services.
