Aircel launches 4G services in India
Indian mobile operator Aircel has launched 4G services in Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar and Odisha, according to Telecompaper.com on July 16, 2014. Aircel has therefore become the second operator to launch 4G services on the local market following Bharti Airtel\'s 4G launch earlier this year. Aircel has spectrum across all 22 circles in India. Aircel has 20 MHz of spectrum in the 4G LTE 2300 MHz band across eight circles, including Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Assam and in the Northeastern regions of Jammu and Kashmir.
