Russian mobile operator MTS has launched an LTE network in the Murmansk region, Telecompaper.com reported on July 18, 2014. LTE services from the operator are accessible in the city of Severomorsk. The network was launched under the region’s LTE FDD standard, which supports up to 75 Mbps. MTS sells over 20 models of LTE end-user devices in its shops.
