Algerie Telecom has launched fixed 4G LTE services for cybercafés, Telecompaper.com reported on July 22, 2014. The move follows the launch of fixed LTE for business customers. Cybercafés can choose between two offers: 2 Mbps access for DZD 12,000 ($150) a month, or 4 Mbps for DZD 21,000 ($264) a month. The operator said its plan is to respond to the rising demand for high-speed and very high-speed internet access, as well as solidify its position as technological leader.
