Open Mobile moves call centre to Dominican Republic
Puerto Rican telecoms operator Open Mobile has dismissed 50 employees following the company\'s decision to move its call centre to the Dominican Republic, Telecompaper.com reported on July 23, 2014. Open Mobile provides mobile telephony services in Puerto Rico through both 3G and 4G LTE technologies. Open Mobile is owned by M/C Partners and Columbia Capital, which acquired Movistar\'s assets in Puerto Rico in 2007.
