MTS launches LTE network in Saratov
Russian mobile operator MTS has launched LTE services in the Saratov region, namely in the cities of Saratov and Engels, with speeds of up to 75 Mbps, Telecompaper.com reported on July 25, 2014. The network is available in all residential neighborhoods of Saratov. MTS plans to raise the number of LTE base stations more than five-fold in the region by the end of the year. MTS currently has LTE networks in over 30 regions across the country.
