Ukrainian mobile operator Kyivstar announced that over 300,000 LTE smartphones were registered on its network at the end of June, as well as some 7 million 3G mobile devices, according to Telecompaper.com on July 28, 2014. The increase in LTE devices on the network was 10 times more than the growth in 3G devices. The amount of 3G devices grew by 4 percent in June, while the number of LTE devices jumped by 42 percent. Despite the growing number of data devices, Kyivstar does not offer 3G or LTE services.
