O2 Czech Republic enlarged the coverage of its LTE network, bringing 4G service to Pilsen-South, Brno, Zdar nad Sazavou, Jihlava, Pardubice and Chrudim, reported Telecompaper.com on Aug 28, 2014. By the end of the year, the operator plans to cover 90 percent of the population with speeds up to 100 Mbps download and 55 Mbps upload. The operator offers mobile phones and tablets supporting LTE, which customers can buy with payments in 24 installments.

The operator also added the Samsung Galaxy S5 mini to its range of LTE devices. Until the end of October, O2 will also exclusively offer the Samsung Galaxy Core LTE. For LTE tablets, O2 offers in promotion, starting 28 August, the Alcatel Onetouch Pop 7S. With a purchased tablet, O2 gives away a voucher for 10 films from the O2 Videoteque.
