EE, a mobile network operator with the most subscribers in the UK, has confirmed that 75 percent of Britons are now able to access its LTE network, which is available in 263 major towns and cities and over 2,500 villages and small towns, Telegeography.com reported on Aug 29.

Olaf Swantee, EE’s chief executive, said of the development: “4G is now a well-known and well understood technology, with businesses and communities increasingly demanding 4G coverage because they see the significant economic benefits. Our fast, nationwide rollout continues, with hundreds of new sites being switched on every month to bring 4G to more places, often giving people a fast broadband experience for the very first time.”
