CRC to revoke 4G Com’s license for non-payment

Bulgaria’s Communications Regulation Commission is planning on revoking the wireless concession for a 2×8-MHz block of spectrum in the 1800-MHz band that was granted to a start-up 4G Com (4DZI Kom), in December 2011, because of its "non-payment of fees", Telegeography.com has reported.

According to the newspaper Capital, the would-be operator failed to pay a one-off fee of BGN30.4 million ($19.8 million) along with its annual contributions since the award date. The start-up now allegedly owes the regulator BGN34.87 million, after paying just BGN360 of the total sum in June 2014.
