The Hungarian operator Magyar Telekom has said that about 250,000 customers were signed up for its 4G mobile Internet service, in September, for a six-fold increase in just one year, Telecompaper.com writes, adding that the 4G outdoor coverage is available in just over 53 percent of the country, a figure that is expected to grow to 80 percent, by 2015. In addition, 70 percent of the operator’s smartphones are 4G compatible, and customer 4G data usage has quadrupled over the same period of last year.
