Mr. Gao Tongqing, Executive Vice President of China Mobile, delivered a speech titled “Seize a New Opportunity of 5G Development, Achieve Win-win in the New Era Of Intelligent Connectivity”. He noted that China Mobile needs to give full play to the new opportunities brought by the “Five scenarios-Three common demands" in the digital transformation.

First, strengthen new infrastructure. China Mobile has built 390,000 5G stations, its 5G users have increased to 169 million, and has built the 5G enterprise network system with wide coverage, premium performance, low cost, strong O&M and powerful ability. Through focusing on intelligentization, we will heavily promote Jiutian platform, and realize the transformation from mobile could to smart cloud.

Second, apply new production factors. In technology, we will promote the convergence and application of 5G+AICDE, block chains and many other information technologies, implement initiatives including Jiutian, Digital Spark and the Phoenix Tree. In data factors, build Phoenix Tree big data platform to enable all walks of life.

Third, spawn new growth drivers. We will make full use of new infrastructure and the production factors to improve life quality, social governance, and upgrade production mode.

Fourth, build new ecosystem. We will further implement “Joint Innovation+” initiative, be more open in billion-level customer market, drive a 50 billion value sharing action, and invest 100 billion RMB in merger and acquisitions as well as equity participation funds. Furthermore, we will continue to expand global “5G+” cross-industrial ecosystem, strengthen international cooperation, address key issues in 5G development, to promote evolution in terms of technology, standard, and industry.
