Apple today unveiled a new high-end iPhone, the iPhone 5S, as well as a cheaper model, the iPhone 5C, which support 17 LTE bands, including TD-LTE. The iPhone 5S features hardware improvements over last year\'s model, the iPhone 5, including a fingerprint scanner built into the device\'s home button. The iPhone 5C comes in a variety of colored casings. This is the first time Apple has introduced more than one new iPhone model at a time.

According to the respective official technical specifications webpages for the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c, the devices will work on TD-LTE networks.

The low-end iPhone 5C and the high-end iPhone 5S both support more LTE bands "than any other smartphones in the world" and offer download speeds of up to 100 Mbps, said the company.
