Mr. Yang Jie, the Chairman of China Mobile, addressed that the information and communication industry is ushering in a new wave of technological innovation featuring "Three Typical Characteristics”, namely integrated innovations in information and power, in information and technology, and in information service system and social operation system. The digital economy has accelerated the development of real economy accompanied by "Four Outstanding Characteristics", with information network as the key foundation, data resources as the core element, information technology as the main driving force, and integration application as an important approach. He pointed out that China Mobile anchors its positioning as a world-class information service technology innovation company, and works to develop new information infrastructure and new information service system, to boost the digital economy.

Mr. Yang stressed that China Mobile will work closely with all parties to fully support GTI. First, jointly create technological innovation. It will focus on 5G-A, 6G, cloud and computing networks to solve key issues in spectrum planning, technical solutions, industrial advancement, and commercial deployment, and build a unified global standard specification. Second, jointly accelerate industry maturity. It will strengthen cooperation in new information infrastructure such as 5G and computing networks, foster connectivity, and promote high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative. Third, jointly create ecological prosperity. It will build collaborative innovation bases and scientific facilities, bring together industrial, academic and research partners from around the world, and allocate innovation resources in a wider range, in a wider field, and at a higher level. Finally, he said that China Mobile will work with all parties to promote GTI as a model of technological innovation and win-win cooperation, to promote the high-quality development of global mobile information industry.
