Mr. Alex Sinclair, the CTO of GSMA, noted that following the first rollout of 5G networks in 2019, there are about 1.3 billion 5G connections in the global mobile industry, which is expected to reach 2.5 billion by 2025. Ultra-reliable 5G systems bring a high level of automation, customization, flexibility and analytics, creating a lot of value for industries around the world. According to The Mobile Economy China 2023 Report by GSMA, China is the largest 5G market in the world, accounting for more than 60% of global 5G connections at the end of 2022. Operators are increasingly turning to 5G industry applications, such as the world's leading 5G factory park application by China Mobile, Huawei and Midea Group, received the GSMA GLOMOs 5G Industry Challenge Award in Barcelona. He said that the value of 5G in the future will also be driven by providing rich network capabilities, thus promoting the development of digitalization in various industries.
