Mr. Mats Granryd, Director General of GSMA noted that 5G is going to completely transform our lives over the next 30 years. By the end of 2021, 176 mobile operators had launched 5G services in 70 markets around the world. And by 2025, we expect 5G to account for a quarter of total mobile connections across the world.

He emphasized a decarbonized world is a digital world. We will need to work across sectors, across industries and across governments. Only by acting together, leveraging the power of mobile technology, can we create lasting change and build a smarter, greener world for us all.
