Dr. Andreas Mueller, General Chair of 5G-ACIA, remarked that 5G has the potential to become a one size fits all solution, at least for wireless connectivity in a factory. 5G is the only solution that is capable enough to support really a wide variety of different use cases, sometimes very diverse requirements at the same time. 5G may lead to a fundamental change of how we build our factory in future,it may really unlock a lot of value in the factory. However, there are challenges to be addressed in the integration of 5Gvarious industries, such as there is need to further formulate standards that might make a difference to key features of industrial domain, there is need for new deployment modelsnew business models,there are different innovation cycles in the ICTOT industry. All this needs the collaborative efforts of global partners.
