Finnish telecom operators DNA, Elisa and Sonera will continue the expansion of their LTE networks in the 800 MHz frequency range at the beginning of 2014. The LTE base stations may cause interference to a small percentage of TV viewers who watch via an antenna. Telecom operators and the terrestrial TV network responsible for the digital TV switchover Digita have opened the website Taajuustalkoot.fiv to advise and assist people concerning any potential TV picture issues. The installation of the base stations in the new 800 MHz frequency range will last for several years. The LTE mobile broadband networks will cover almost the whole of Finland.
