According to a report by Telecompaper, mobile operator Tele2 Estonia is planning to upgrade its GSM and 3G networks in the city of Tartu this week. New equipment will be implemented at all 3G and GSM base stations, which may cause some fluctuation in network coverage. Tele2 Estonia offers LTE services in Tartu on the 2,600 MHz band. It also intends to launch services over the 800 MHz band in the region.
