Tigo Colombia is working on expanding its LTE coverage in the country, aiming to have 250,000 to 300,000 high speed internet users by the end of 2014, Telecompaper reports quoting El Tiempo.

Nearly four months after launching 4G, the operator has about 50,000 customers at present, with its LTE service covering Bogota, Medellín, Barranquilla and Bucaramanga, while Cali is expected to be covered by the end of March.
