Samsung has unveiled its latest range of tablets, the Galaxy Tab 4. Available in 10.1-, 8.0- and 7.0-inch screen sizes, the new range targets "the whole family," with more media and sharing features and a slimmer, more portable design, according to Samsung. The tablets will launch worldwide starting this quarter, in black and white versions with a textured back cover, Telecompaper reports.

In addition to Wi-Fi, Tab 4 comes with LTE Cat 4 support for multiple bands. Each device runs Android 4.4 and a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and supports 16 GB of internal storage and microSD cards. Front-facing cameras have been improved to 3 megapixels, while the back cameras support 1.3 megapixels.

Multimedia features include Group Play to share and play music, documents and games with friends in real time, Samsung Link to share and play content on other connected devices, and WatchON to watch video across devices. The tablets also come with a wide range of Samsung and Google apps.
