Vodafone Romania has announced an increase in maximum theoretical downlink speeds for LTE users across its 4G coverage, from 100-Mbps to 150-Mbps and, in going forward, has already achieved downlink speeds of 300-Mbps under test conditions, which, it says, will be ready for customers next year, TeleGeography reports.

As for coverage targets, for the new fiscal year (April 2014 - March 2015), Vodafone says it plans to increase LTE coverage to 70 percent of Romania’s ‘urban population’ and, it hopes to provide 4G connectivity to 100 percent of the urban population by March 2016.
