Algerie Telecom has increased the speeds and cut the price of its ADSL Internet access for business customers, before opening fixed-LTE services, Telecompaper.com reports. The entry-level for its new Idoom ADSL Pro service is 2-Mbps, costing DZD 10,000 ($127) a month, compared to its previous first tier, 512 kbps for DZD 10,832.

And, customers can now have 4-Mbps for DZD 18,000, instead of 1-Mbps for DZD 17,654, and 8-Mbps for DZD 32,000, instead of 2-Mbps for DZD 35,654. Algerie Telecom has introduced a top-tier of 20-Mbps, at DZD 65,000 a month. Idoom ADSL Pro will come with unlimited data use, anywhere from 5 to 30 e-mail boxes, 5-GB or 10-GB online storage, IP addresses, and a Wi-Fi modem, depending on the tier.
