Telefonica to monitor customer roaming for Brazil World Cup
Telefonica\'s Global Solutions division has announced that it will monitor roaming services to ensure access during the World Cup by using special tools such as Roamfix, from Mobileum, and complemented by a global management center of operations and services, Telecompaper.com reports.
The report explains that this move will allow the company to centralize the necessary tests during the opening phase of a roaming agreement by any operator with Telefonica. The operator also said it will improve resources and communication tools to facilitate roaming for customers.
To do this, it will use robots at strategic locations in the host cities and technology based on users\' mobile phones to produce measurements of 3G and LTE in stadiums, media centers, hotels, embassies and airports.
