Bahrain operator Menatelecom has started its LTE network along with its ongoing WiMax network with support from Elitecore Technologies, a provider of integration, charging, and revenue management systems, reports Telecompaper.com.

Elitecore\'s LTE revenue and customer management platform supports up to 200,000 users and has contributed to complete WiMax-to-LTE transformation for Menatelecom by upgrading the existing Elitecore Wimax platform to support LTE and WiMax components through integration with third-party Evolved Packet Core components. This means smooth activation of multiple prepaid and postpaid services, such as voice, data and bundled offerings. The Elitecore platform is ready to go live in three months.
