Belarusian Cloud Technologies, working under the beCloud brand, has launched its backbone for a national network, Telecompaper.com reported on Aug 3, 2014. The new network currently connects six regional centers and 34 municipal centers across the country. Belarusian operators and ISPs will be granted access to the DWDM network, which uses equipment from Huawei, with speeds at 4 Tbps. The company plans to start providing LTE services in Minsk next year.
