Macedonia, Albania sign cross-border frequency agreement
Macedonia\'s Agency for Electronic Communications has signed a technical agreement on cross-border harmonization of frequencies with the Department of Electronic and Postal Communications in Albania, Telecompaper.com reported on Sept 1, 2014. The agreement regulates the planning and coordination of frequencies in border areas for GSM/UMTS/LTE technologies for the frequency bands 880-915/925-960 MHz, 1,710-1,785/1,805-1,880 MHz, 1,900-1,980 MHz, 2,010-2,025 MHz and 2,110-2,170 MHz.
