AT&T 4G LTE network covers more than 300 m people
AT&T announced last week that its 4G LTE network has reached more than 300 million Americans, months ahead of the year end 2014 target under the Project VIP plan, Policychargingcontrol.com reported.
According to AT&T, since the launch of project VIP plan in November 2012, wireless data traffic on AT&T’s nationwide network has increased 2.5 times. AT&T said that it has invested more than $140 billion into its wireless and wired networks over the past six years (2008 to 2013), including acquisitions of spectrum and wireless operations.
