Movistar Mexico has launched 4G LTE services in Mexico City, reported Telecompaper.com on Sept 19, 2014. The company previously said that it expects to offer LTE services in 300 cities across Mexico by the end of 2015. The operator ended the quarter with a total of 20.24 million mobile telephony subscribers, climbing 6.1 percent year-on-year. Movistar Mexico is fully owned by Spain\'s Telefonica.
