Karma, an MVNO that rewards customers with additional data when they share their hotspot connection with others, is launching its LTE hotspot, called Karma Go, on Sprint\'s tri-band LTE network, Telecompaper.com reported on Sept 24, 2014. The company previously only provided service on Sprint\'s WiMax Network. Karma has also doubled its user base to more than 100,000 users is less than a year, according to CEO Steven van Wel.

Karma is currently accepting pre-orders for the new Karma Go hotspot and the product will start shipping in December. The new hotspot will be available for $99 if customers pre-order the device in the first four weeks, and existing customers will get $25 off that price. After the initial period of pre-order sales, the device will cost $150.

When customers turn on the Karma hotspot, they transmit an open Wi-Fi signal that anyone can connect to. If someone connects to the hotspot and registers for Karma service, they get 100 MB of free data and the person who owns the hotspot gets 100 MB. Customers who own hotspots can also purchase more data as they need, including 1 GB for $14, 5 GB for $ 9 ($11.80 per GB) and 10 GB for $99 ($ 9.90 per GB).
