Russian regional mobile operator Motiv has introduced LTE testing to customers in the city of Kurgan, report ed Telecompaper.com on Sept 24, 2014. Subscribers of the operator, as well as subscribers of other operators switching to the Motiv network over the Mobile Number Porting (MNP) system, can test drive services for free. The services are accessible over Sims received in shops of the operator. Motiv plans to launch LTE services in the city of Yekaterinburg and its surroundings, as well as in Salekhard, Nizhniy-Tagil and Surgut soon.
