Vodafone Czech Republic covers with its 3G and LTE networks 67 percent of the territory, reported Telecompaper.com on Sept 25, 2014. By the end of September, the operator plans to cover with LTE 1800 MHz a significant part of the capital and with LTE 800 MHz its environs. In the center of Prague, several transmitters with LTE Advanced technology will be installed.

On LTE 1800 MHz in the center of Prague, the theoretical maximum download speed of 110 Mbps will be available, and in suburbs and environs of the city, on LTE 800 MHz the theoretical maximum download speed will be 75 Mbps. The theoretical maximum on LTE-A available in selected locations in the centre of Prague reaches up to 185 Mbps. Category 6 devices, necessary for LTE-A, should appear in the Czech market at the turn of autumn and winter.
