Megafon upgrades network in Moscow
Russian mobile operator Megafon has expanded and upgraded its network in the city and region of Moscow, reports Telecompaper.com on Oct 8, 2014. The operator has deployed 92 new base stations there since the mid-August, and upgraded over 200 base stations. The coverage of the LTE network has been raised in Vidoye, Krasnogorsk, Reutov and in nine other towns. The coverage of the 3G network has been raised in Klin, Krasnogorsk, Odintsovo, Reutov and Khimki. LTE services from the operator are currently accessible in Moscow and in 72 cities and towns in the region.
