O2 Czech Republic and O2 Slovakia will use the brand O2 in both countries until 27 January 2022, Telecompaper.com reports on Nov 24, 2014. O2 Czech Republic extended its agreement with Telefonica to use the brand O2 in the Czech Republic and Slovakia for another three years, compared to their original agreement for rights until 2019. The operator also announced plans for the construction of a LTE network and development of the 3G network in Slovakia, which it claims the biggest investment in the company\'s history.
