Mr. Dong Xin introduced the latest 4G progress of China Mobile: After acquiring 4G license, China Mobile has deployed 620,000 TD-LTE base stations (as of Oct.) to cover 300 cities and 54.45 million users, with over 50% monthly growth. For October alone, incremental users reached as high as 13.5 million with strong momentum. And China Mobile’s 4G traffic exceeded that of 3G for the first time and it’s expected to exceed 2G in December. This October, DOU of 4G users was 4.2 times of the average, their ARPU beat the average value by one and half folds and over 32% of mobile data came from 4G.

He also committed that China Mobile would like to adhere to the integration, innovation and win-win situation with an open and cooperative attitude, work closely with other operators, industry partners and international organizations relying on the global cooperation platform of GTI, to promote the converged development of LTE FDD and TD-LTE and create an amazing 4G world.
