Mobily named best mobile broadband provider
Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) has received two awards from Telecommunications Council of South Asia and the Middle East and North Africa (SAMENA).
Mobily Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Khalid Al-Kaf was named as the best business leader award in 2011, while the company received the best mobile broadband provider award thanks to its outstanding services the company provides.
These awards highlight Mobily’s devotion to provide telecom services combined with the quality in the whole region, according to a statement.
Mobily was the World’s first operator to launch (TD-LTE) services.
The company also owns the largest 3G-network in MENA region.
The best business leader award was given to Al-Kaf in honor of his remarkable efforts in bringing to reality his vision for the business sector in Saudi Arabia by providing integrated telecom services that can raise the productivity for establishments and companies.
Mobily has provided a full telecom solutions for both government and privet sectors to benefit from, and Mobily’s today is considered to be the sole and exclusive provider for the smart telecom solutions for many projects in Saudi Arabia such as Riyadh Techno Valley in King Saud University, Ghernata Oasis Compound, and several of the residential districts.
SAMENA is a non-profitable council that represents telecom companies, manufacturers, regulators, and academics.
SAMENA has in its council a lot of experts, main decision-makers, executive managers of telecom companies in the region, and service providers.
