Telstra’ 4G coverage has reached 85 percent of the population. The company turned on the 3,500th base station in Hamilton Island recently, according to telecompaper.com.

Telstra will focus on preparing the network with 4G LTE-Advanced technology and deploying new spectrum to add more network capacity, speed and reliability in 2014.
