Orange Spain has announced that over 22 percent of the Spanish population can now access its 4G services, which launched on 08 July 2013 in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Seville, Malaga and Murcia. Since then, the network has been expanded to 12 more cities – Zaragoza, Bilbao, Alicante, Cordoba, Palma de Mallorca, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, La Coruna, Valladolid, Vigo, Huelva, Cadiz and Granada – bringing coverage to a total of 18 major Spanish cities and surrounding towns and industrial estates.

The operator’s aim for 2014 is to expand its 4G services, which are available at no extra charge to all subscribers to the operator’s Delfin 16 and 35 and Ballena 23 and 25 tariff plans, to all of Spain’s provincial capitals.
