Polish mobile operators Polkomtel and Cyfrowy Polsat cover 66.7 percent of the population (26 million people) with their LTE network, Telecompaper.com reported on Wednesday. Their HSPA/HSPA+ network covers 99.6 percent of the population (38.5 million people). Polkomtel and Cyfrowy Polsat customers have access to mobile broadband over LTE or HSPA+ networks from 8,500 base stations in 10,000 locations. Polkomtel provides LTE on the 1,800 MHz band at a maximum speed of 150 Mbps.
