Russia’s mobile operator Megafon has announced that it is offering LTE services in the city of Birobidzhan, Telecompaper.com reports. The services are available in every residential quarter in the city, covering 95 percent of its population.

Megafon is also offering 4G-based voice services in the region using CSFB technology. The operator uses around 50 models of LTE-capable devices for its network, from producers such as Apple, Samsung, LG, and HTC in its branded shops, as well as its white-label LTE devices. It provides LTE services in 49 regions of the country.
