Vodafone Fiji has signed up more than 6,000 customers for its LTE plan, since starting the service late last year, Telecompaper reports. The company said this adoption rate is higher than the 3G uptake, in 2007. Vodafone Fiji currently provides 4G services only in the Suva to Nausori corridor and will try to cover new areas in the coming months. It is also cooperating with Apple to bring the new LTE service to iPhone and iPad users as soon as possible.
