The Apple Co filed an application with the US Patent and Trademark Office, in mid-February, for a new flexible OLED display patent, under the heading \'Flexible Displays\', Electronics Eetimes has reported, noting that the patent would cover new display techniques for reducing the display border by bending the sides of a display surface. This could be applied to a future generation of iPhones and iPads as well as wearable devices, such as the iWatch. Apple is believed to testing a screen that is bezel-free, as well as fingerprint recognition technology.
