South Korea’s LTE users are estimated to have reached 30 million in February. According to its Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning, the number stood at 29.4 million in January. SK Telecom ended January with 13.9 million LTE subscribers, followed by KT with 8.2 million and LG Uplus with 7.2 million, Telecompaper reports citing Yonhap. The LTE user base accounts for 80 percent of smartphone users in the country, which reached 37.88 million in February.
